Comprehensive Eye Exams

We recommend that our patients get an annual eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription for glasses and contacts, as well as screen for any pathology/disease with the latest technology and dilated fundus examinations.

Contact Lens Fitting

At Toms River Eye Consultants, we fit our patients with the best possible contact lens that guarantees quality vision as well as outstanding comfort. For our new contact lens wearers, have no fear! Our team will teach you 1-on-1 how to insert and remove contact lenses as a part of your exam and fee.

Ocular Disease

Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as: glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, diabetic/hypertensive retinopathy, bacterial/viral infections and ocular surface disease such as: dry eye, allergic conjunctivitis and cataract consultations,

Pre and post op follow ups for LASIK and cataract surgery.

Ocular Emergencies

Emergencies and accidents are a part of life. We take care of emergencies such as a stuck contact lens/object in eye, pink eye, cuts, scratches, chemical burns/exposure, and blunt injuries to the eye or eyelid.

OUR DOCTOR

Dr. Yaseen Moussa, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Moussa has completed his Bachelors of Sciences in Integrative Biology at Southeastern Louisiana University. He then pursued his Doctorates degree at the State University of New York, College of Optometry.

He completed his rotations at NYC Health+ Gouverneur hospital in Gotham, New York as well as the NYU Langone center of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

He primarily focuses on being a primary eye care provider and is specialized in seeing patients with dry eyes, glaucoma, and other retinal disorders.

Dr. Moussa prides himself in caring deeply for the health and well being of his patients and strives for 100% satisfaction at all times.
